DNA can prove to be very useful evidence in complicated cases where it is difficult to get other strong evidences. But DNA can sometimes lead to wrong decisions also as the matter is highly technical in nature and thus require high amount of expertise. In those cases twice as many of the suspects were arrested and more than twice as many cases were considered for prosecution. Through field experiment also it was found that DNA proves much more helpful than that of fingerprints evidence.
